I started working at Haydon Vets in March 2014 after volunteering in Fiji following my training in Australia which I completed in 2013. My interest in veterinary nursing began from volunteering for an Animal shelter in the Canary Islands in 2011.
I particularly enjoy nursing inpatients, anaesthesia and post operative care. In my spare time I enjoy travelling, scuba diving and hiking. I look forward to one day living in the countryside and owning a border collie and a golden retriever.
I started work at Haydon Vets in January 2016 following work as a locum nurse for just over a year.
Prior to this, I worked at a mixed practice in Cornwall for 10 years, qualifying as a Veterinary Nurse in 2008.
I enjoy all aspects of Veterinary Nursing and particularly like caring for and rehabilitating wildlife.
I have 3 cats, Oscar, Max and Graham alongside many tropical fish!
In my spare time, I enjoy walking, gardening, photography and visiting friends and family in Cornwall.
I started working at Haydon Vets in May 2016 as a Trainee Veterinary Nurse. In May 2016 I qualified as an Animal Nursing Assistant.
In my spare time I like to take my dog Poppy for walks. I also love to go to the gym and enjoy playing netball. I am looking forward to starting my diploma in Veterinary Nursing in September and working towards becoming a Qualified Veterinary Nurse.
